I filled up at Meijer this morning. The pump has been fixed, the keypad worked, and the printer had paper. Woo hoo!
Here are the stats:
Price E85: $3.35
Price 87 Octane gas: $3.85 a gallon
Gallons E85: 6.015
Gallons 87 Octane: 9.164
Gallons left from tank #14 (@~34.77%% ethanol): 1.221
I'm assuming that the E85 is 79% ethanol, 100 octane.
Ethanol content of tank #15: 37.15%%
Octane of tank #15: 93.48

Hey, sorry to back post, but my 1998 SAAB hit a huge MPG drop on the 40.8% tank for local driving (about 17mpg) compared to the last tank of 38%
I reduced my e-85 to 37.7% on the latest tank (basically 6 gallons ethanol then top off with regular unleaded), and on the highway I'm getting a consistent 26mpg.
I think this might have more to do with SAAB's abyssmal local driving MPG versus the highway MPG (21/28). I blame this on the cars heavy weight more than the blends though.
I decided to back the ethanol off 1 gallon this fill up, and my sweet spot seems to be between 35-38% ethanol. I'm going to install a scan gauge later this month and start tracking my fuel trims!
Woo hoo!
