Experiments in running E85 ethanol, mixed with regular 87 octane gasoline, in non-flex fuel vehicles (2004 Acura TL and 2007 Saab 9-3.)
Where I live, the price spread is still about 9%. But this makes gasoline cheaper in terms of BTUs so I have stopped buying e85, especially since I have to go out of my way to get it. It's hard to believe that you're seeing gasoline priced below the price of e85. Bad news indeed.
