Meijer's pump sucks.

My biggest beef with Meijer is the dilapidated condition of its E85 pump. It's a continuing problem.

The last 2 times I've gone there, the pump has been EXTREMELY SLOW. So slow that I just put 4 gallons in, when I was actually planning on 5.

Considering how they price E85 (currently 10 cents a gallon MORE than 87), I'm the only one using the pump. I don't expect them to fix it.

Make sure you talk to the clerks about that pump Buzz- for E85 they may still be using 1 or 2 micron filters instead of the newly recommended 5 micron ones. A 1 micron filter will slow down very quickly when it has pumped 50,000 gallons or so. This is the likely culprit and they could fix this in 10 minutes if they are made aware and care. Just for comparison gasoline is typically only filtered to 30 microns so they do not have to change the filter but once a year (some stations will be kind and use 10 micron filter for gas but this is not real common since they would have to change it every 3 months). Since gas is dirtier they cannot use 1 micron filters on it- I tried that and they would only last for 8,000 to 30,000 gallons.
