Remember, the last tank was gas, not E85.

E85 was $1.99 today.  87 octane gas was $2.19 and premium was $2.69.

I was at 108185 miles, last tank was at 107863 miles, for 322 miles on this tank.  I filled up with 16.343 gallons, for 19.7 miles per gallon, on GAS, not E85.

So I lose about 3 to 3.5 mpg when using E85 vs. gas.

I saved $11.44 by using E85 vs. premium, not considering the mileage penalty.

Unfortunately, both E85 pumps were occupied this morning, and I had to fill up with straight gas.  On the positive side, now I can see what my mileage on gasoline (E10) is.

I was at 107863, last tank was at 107580, for 283 miles on the tank.  I filled up with 17.293 gallons, for 16.37 mpg.

E85 cost 2.05 per gallon, E10 gas cost 2.25 per gallon, and premium cost 2.75 per gallon.

I was at 107580 miles, last tank was at 107290 miles, for 290 miles on this tank.  I filled up with 17.919 gallons, for 16.18 miles per gallon.

I saved $8.09 by using E85 vs. premium, not considering the mileage penalty.

I saved $8.09 by using E85 vs. premium, not considering the mileage penalty.
